Amish Tripathi Slams Trolls for Criticizing His English Skills And Says PM Modis Biggest Strength Hindi Fluency | Amish Tripathi rained on those who trolled PM Modi, said

Amish tripathi defends PM modi on using English: Writer Amish Tripathi has supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his ability to speak Hindi is not a weakness, but strength. Recently, Amish Tripathi responded to Prime Minister Modi’s trolling to speak English and criticized it.

He told the news agency IANS that English has become necessary today, especially to move forward in jobs and society. But being English does not mean that we consider our mother tongue as small. Today many people speak English under pressure, and those who speak Hindi are considered less, which is wrong thinking. We should be proud of Indian languages, not ashamed.

English is necessary, but not forced

Amish Tripathi said, “I am not against speaking English. It has become necessary to learn English in today’s time. If you want a good job then you have to learn to speak English. We are the first generation in our family who went to English medium school. My parents studied in Hindi medium school. So, I reiterate that I am not against speaking English and I am against its effects.”

Giving the example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amish Tripathi said that people make fun of Modi ji for not speaking fluent English. This is wrong. Modi ji did not study in English medium school, yet he speaks very well in Hindi without any paper or notes. We should appreciate them, not criticism.

Example given by other leaders of other countries

He said, “If Modi ji wants, he can speak in English too, but it is not right to make fun of this.”

Amish Tripathi gave examples of leaders of other countries, French President Emmanuel Macron, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japan and Chinese leaders, saying that they all speak in their language, but no one laughs at them.

He questioned, “When this does not happen in other countries, why do we do this in India?”

Should be proud of your mother tongue

Amish said that the effect of English can be good, but it should not be the pressure to speak that people start thinking of themselves as small. He insisted, “Now the time has come to end this pressure and be proud of our languages.” Recently, some people trolled on social media after Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not speak the stream flow English.
