UP BJP Politics: Appointment letters were handed over to more than 60 thousand selected youth during a big event on Sunday in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. In this ceremony, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath themselves provided appointment letters to the youth from the platform, due to which the police of the state got 60 thousand new policemen. This program was not just a platform to provide employment, but through this, some interesting signs of internal politics of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were also seen.
Political speculation increased due to Amit Shah’s statement
In this program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and many other ministers and BJP leaders of Yogi government were present on the stage. CM Yogi first addressed the gathering, after which Home Minister Amit Shah gave inspirational address to the youth. At the beginning of his speech, Amit Shah first took the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and after that when Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, he addressed him as “my friend and deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Ji”. This one line has once again warmed up the discussion in the political corridors of UP.
CM Yogi and Keshav Prasad Maurya have been in the discussion
It has been revealed in the politics of Uttar Pradesh for a long time that everything is not comfortable in the relationship between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. During the by -elections or in various government programs, many incidents of distance have been revealed before. In such a situation, Amit Shah’s addressing Keshav Prasad Maurya as a “friend” gives a clear indication that Maurya is among the leaders close to the top leadership of the BJP.
Apart from this, it is also noteworthy that some time ago when CM Yogi and Keshav Prasad Maurya were present in Delhi, both of them met different top leaders, which further strengthened the conflict between them.
Keshav Prasad Maurya is considered a big face of OBC class
When the BJP got a majority during the assembly elections 2022, Keshav Prasad Maurya’s name was also running prominently in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Maurya is not only the Deputy Chief Minister but is considered a big face of the OBC class, and his role in the party’s social equations has been important.
