Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been working in the film industry for almost 55 years. Out of these, he has been with his own make-up man for the last 50 years. On Saturday, Deepak Sawant, who is his make-up man, shared a video on Instagram from the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, in which Amitabh praised his dedication towards his work.

In the video, which was shot during the interval of the show, Deepak Sawant was seen fixing Amitabh Bachchan’s hair and makeup. During this, Amitabh kept telling the audience many funny stories of his with Deepak. Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘This is Deepak Sawant. It has been 50 years since he worked with us. And let me tell you one thing, in these 50 years we have done about 200 films. There was never a day when he was not with us. Always duty bound, come on time, no matter what happens. And one thing which is a bit difficult to say, but I will say it, Deepak Sawant’s brother passed away three days ago, and despite that he has come to work. This is his integrity and commitment.
While sharing the video, Deepak Sawant wrote, ‘Mr. Bachchan’s good words and praise always keep me grounded. It is a blessing to work with someone so humble, respectful and loving towards his team. Even at the age of 76, his dignity and enthusiasm inspire me to continue my hard work towards him.
