The result was that Zeenat Aman got a place as the lead actress in the film.

According to the report of Sacnilk, the film Ram Balram was made at a cost of around Rs 2 crores. The film had earned Rs 9.5 crore at the box office. This was one of the top films of the year 1980. With this it became the third highest grossing film.
