Kanchan kumari murder case: The chief conspirator Amritpal Singh Mehro is still out of police custody in the murder case of social media influencer Kanchan Kumari alias Kamal Kaur Bhabhi in Bathinda. Two of his associates have been arrested by the Bathinda police.
‘Do not put vulgar content on social media platform’
Mehro has now threatened Punjab’s social media influencers not to put abusive content on social media. In particular, he has threatened to not put indecent content on his social media platform to Amritsar’s social media influencer Deepika Luthra. However, Luthra has removed the alleged indecent content from his social media and has also apologized for putting such content.
Mehro has said in a threat that parking spaces are not only in Bathinda and there are places and every time you get a dead body, it is not necessary.

Mehro had called Kanchan Kumari to Bathinda on the pretext of a promotion and two Nihang Singh colleagues Jaspreet Singh and Nimratjit Singh strangled Kanchan Kumari to death. Kanchan Kumari’s body was found on Wednesday night in a car in a parking lot near the hospital in Bhucho, Bathinda. Amritpal Singh Mehro had also threatened Kanchan Kumari for objectionable content on her social media.
Amritpal Singh Mehro contested the 2022 assembly elections as a candidate for Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar’s party Shiromani Akali Dal. He also runs an organization called ‘Kaum De Rakhe’ and tells himself as the protector of Sikh dignity.
