The accused involved in the murder of Aam Aadmi Party Sarpanch in Amritsar has been killed in an encounter. On Tuesday (January 6), there was an encounter between the police and an associate of the killers near Tarn Taran, in which the gangster was killed.
He worked for gangster Prabhu Dasuwal. This accused was involved in the plan to murder the Sarpanch, although he was not among the gangster attackers.
The murder was committed during a wedding ceremony.

According to the police, Singh, a resident of Valtoha village in Tarn Taran district, had come to Amritsar to attend a wedding ceremony when some unidentified assailants shot him at close range.
He told that the bullet hit Singh on his forehead, due to which he fell and he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died. He said that the police reached the spot, captured CCTV footage and recorded the statements of eyewitnesses.
