According to Anaya, his surgery will be done in a special clinic in Thailand, where he will have to stay for about a month. After this, long rest will be necessary and she will not be able to play cricket for at least six months.

Anaya had earlier said that at one time her father had told her that she had no future in cricket. However, the family’s perspective changed with time. Anaya says that when her parents saw that people were treating her with respect, taking photographs with her and accepting her, then they realized that this was not a temporary decision, but Anaya’s real identity.
