In Haryana, BJP has appointed in -charge of those seats where the party lost in the assembly elections. Interestingly, Haryana Transport Minister and senior leader Anil Vij is not named in this list. When Vij was questioned about this, he said that he has the responsibility to see the whole state.
Talking to reporters in Ambala, Anil Vij also announced a plan to visit the entire state. On Tuesday, Haryana BJP President Mohanlal Badoli announced the in -charge on the seats representing opposition MLAs in the current assembly.
Why was the appointment of MLAs?
According to the news agency PTI, party sources said, these MLAs will work to strengthen the party at the ground level, identify the needs of new development and resolve public grievances.
In the 90 seats of Haryana, BJP won 48 seats. At the same time, Congress got 37 seats, INLD got two seats. Independents won three seats.
Strict warning to officers
When this was questioned, Ambala Cantonment MLA Anil Vij said in a funny manner, “Look, the rest have been given one assembly seat, but I have to see the whole Haryana. I am the most senior MLA and have won the election seven times. I will soon start a statewide tour, in which I will meet new and old party workers and know their skills.”
Vij also gave strict warning to the government officials and said that he would keep an eye on those who have taken care of the implementation of government schemes during their visits.
72 -year -old Anil Vij won the Ambala Cantonment seat in the October 2024 assembly elections and became MLA for the seventh time by defeating Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara. The relationship with former Vij’s former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was always tense. He has also commented several times on Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.
