Another action of India against Pakistan, former PM Imran Khan’s ‘X’ account ban

Imran Khan, bilawal bhutto x account blocked in India: Since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a situation of tension between India and Pakistan. Since the terrorist attack, India has closed the social media accounts of Pakistan’s big politicians, cricketers and actors. Now the X account of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also been closed in India. The profile photo is not visible on his X account and it is written that this account has been banned in India.

Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif’s ex account block

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif’s X (East Twitter) account has also been blocked. This step to ban Asif’s X account was taken just one day after India banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels. The subscriber base of the banned Pakistani YouTube channels is 63 million. These channels were spreading inflammatory and communally sensitive materials. Some of the major Pakistani YouTube channels blocked include Don News, ARY News, Bol News, Geo News, Sama TV and GNN.

Government of Pakistan’s official ex account is also closed

India has blocked the official X handle of the Government of Pakistan. Along with this, cricketers, celebs and Pakistani YouTube channels have also been closed in India. India has taken many strict steps against Pakistan, taking a tough stand on the Pahalgam attack.

Instagram account block of Pakistani cricketers

The Instagram account of current and former Pakistani cricketers including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Wasim Akram has been blocked in India. Shaan Masood, fast bowlers Hasan Ali and Nasim Shah, batsmen Imam-ul-Haq, all-rounder Shadab Khan and former stars Shoaib Akhtar and Shahid Afridi are also included in this list.
