Trade was $ 6,061 million during FY 2022-23 between India and Egypt. In 2021, bilateral trade reached $ 7.26 billion. 55 companies in India have invested about $ 4 billion in Egypt. In 2024, there has been a trade of about 36 thousand crore rupees between India and Essays. In ten years, imports and exports between the two countries have increased almost five times.
India has invested in more than 50 projects in Egypt, which is around US $ 3.15 billion. While Egypt has invested US $ 37 million in India.

Egypt is a big market for India. The bilateral business agreement has been in force between the two countries in trade since 1978. In 2023, on the occasion of Republic Day, President Abdel Fatah al -Sisi was made the chief guest. Apart from diplomatic, both countries have great commercial cooperation.
Although the situation of Egypt is usually something like Pakistan, but still it has a better relationship with India. Egypt was constantly doing against Pakistan’s policies and terrorism, but the way it has supported Pakistan against India, many types of questions are bound to arise on it.
