Following the request of the Uttar Pradesh government, the central government has once again increased the deputation of Senior IAS and Commissioner of Moradabad Division Anjaney Kumar Singh in UP. Anjaney Kumar Singh has received a one -year deputation service extension by the central government. Soon Anjaneya Kumar Singh will take over the post of Moradabad Divisional Commissioner again.
Let us know that at the end of the period of deputation on 14 August 2025, Mandalayukta Anjaney Kumar Singh handed over his charge to DM Moradabad Anuj Singh and went on a long leave. Anjaneya Kumar Singh is a 2005 batch IAS officer of Sikkim cadre and in 2015 he came on deputation in Uttar Pradesh during Akhilesh Yadav’s government.
There was headlines for action on Azam Khan
While being a DM in Rampur, he came into the limelight due to strict action against former minister Azam Khan. Azam Khan and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav have been constantly demanding the removal of the commissioner of Moradabad before every election, but the government has been increasing their deputation. In the year 2019, he came into the limelight for his action on SP leader Azam Khan while being the district officer of Rampur and since then his tenure has been increasing in UP.
Central government extended service extension on the request of UP government
He was made the Divisional Commissioner of Moradabad division by promoting in March 2021, since then he remained the Commissioner of Moradabad. On the request of the UP government, IAS officer Anjaney Kumar Singh from the central government has once again got the expansion of deputation in UP. Anjaneya Kumar Singh has got the expansion of deputation in UP for the 7th time.
