Anta By-election Result 2025: Congress candidate Pramod Jain ‘Bhaya’ has won a big victory in the by-election held on Anta assembly seat of Rajasthan. The Congress leader won the election from Anta seat by more than 15 thousand votes. With this, Pramod Jain Bhaya has become MLA of Anta for the fourth time. Five Muslim candidates stood against Bhaya on this seat. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Morpal Suman also could not lead his party to victory. After all 20 rounds of voting, Congress leader Pramod Jain has registered a big victory in the by-election.

BJP got a crushing defeat

By-election was held on the same seat in Rajasthan, in which a tough fight was expected between BJP and Congress, but after 20 rounds of high-voltage counting, Pramod Jain Bhaya won the by-election. The Bharatiya Janata Party-led government of Bhajanlal Sharma had given command to Morpal Suman in this by-election, but he lost by 15,612 votes.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is believed to have influence on Anta assembly seat. BJP candidate Morpal Suman is also said to be close to Vasundhara Raje. But the victory of Congress in this by-election has once again shown the strength of its claws in the state. After completion of 20 rounds of counting, Pramod Jain Bhaya has been declared the winner by the Election Commission.

One Congressman is superior to 5 Muslim candidates

To defeat Pramod Jain Bhaya, five Muslim candidates had filed nomination from this seat, but ‘Bhaya’ defeated all the Muslim candidates along with BJP in this by-election. Five independent Muslim candidates contested the Anta by-election. Among them, Manzoor Alam, Naushad, Bilal Khan, Jamil Ahmed and Dildar were in the fray, but Pramod Jain Bhaya won the election by a huge margin.
