India changing in superpower: During the tenure of the Modi government in the last decade, the country has designed such weapons and missiles in the defense sector which were still with select countries like Russia, America and China. During this time, India has made a change to re -determine its global situation. India is turning into a superpower from a developing country today and is constantly moving forward in defense, space and technology.
The country has moved forward in the elite of state -of -the -art technology and capabilities by focusing continuously on self -reliance, innovation and technological progress through initiatives like Modi government’s self -sufficient India and Make in India. India is no longer a partner, but a leader in the global field by promoting the culture of indigenous research, strengthening public-private participation and prioritizing strategic investment in science and technology.
In the last decade, India has prepared these special and dangerous weapons
1. Laser-based directed energy system system (DEW): On Sunday (April 13), India successfully conducted tests of a laser-based energy weapons system. It is capable of countering weapon, fixed-wing and self-drone. With this achievement, India has joined the four countries that have such advanced potential: Russia, America and China.
2. Hyprasonic missile: In the year 2024, DRDO tested the country’s first long -range hypersonic missile, which can carry both traditional and nuclear warheads more than a distance. Target can be replaced even after firing this missile. This missile flies five times more than the speed of sound.
3. Multiple Independent Targel Targel Re-Entry Vehicle (MIRV) Technology: Last year i.e. in 2024, India successfully tested the Agni-V missile with MIRV technology, increasing the ability to deploy several nuclear warheads on the same missile.
4. Navy Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) capacity: In the year 2023, India successfully tested a sea-based endow-wildlife interceptor missile. With this test, India, BMD-Navy, joined the category of elite-country capacity.
5. Indigenous unmanned air vehicle: India conducted a successful flight testing of indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles (pilot-less aircraft), which is a proof of the maturity of technology readiness levels in the country.
6. Mission Shakti: In 2019, India successfully tested an anti-satellite (A-SAT) missile through Mission Shakti. This ability is also with selected countries of the world.
