The actress who auditioned for Anushka’s role is none other than Anupriya Goenka. Anupriya Berlin has been covered since the film. He recently talked about the audition for the Sultan in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan.
Gave 12 auditions
Anupriya told in the interview that ‘I had auditioned for the Sultan, for the main part. Then those people were looking for new people. At that time I had some 11-12 tests. They climb the same ladder after the other. The first 1 audition was done and then the second audition took place. Then music video test, then dance test with Vaibhavi. After that readings with Ali. A lot of the ladder climbs one by one. That one month process was very cute. I am happy that that process was only 1 month for me. Had she been 6-7 months old, I would have gone to the anxiety.
Anupriya further said- ‘I was like this until I had met Ali, I did not know that I was auditioning for the Sultan. In YRF you are not given the original script, you have auditions on the second script. When I came to know that it is for the Sultan and I did not get it, it was very sad.
Please tell Anupriya has worked in two films with YRF. One is a war and the other is tiger alive. Anupriya’s acting was liked in both films.
