Anushka Sharma has expressed grief over the stampede at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, sharing the post of IPL team RCB official status on Insta. This post reads, “We are very sad from the unfortunate incidents that came out through media reports, in which people gathered in the entire Bengaluru in the excitement of the team this afternoon. The safety and good of all is most important for us.”
The statement further wrote, “RCB has mourned the loss of life and property and expressed its heartfelt condolences to the affected families. Soon after knowing the situation, we immediately amended our program and follow the guidance and advice of local administration. We appeal to our supporters to stay safe.” While sharing this statement, Anushka Sharma has posted an emoji of three broken hearts.

Earlier on Wednesday, Anushka showed a glimpse of celebrations on the streets of Bengaluru to the fans on Instagram Stories. During this time, the actress was seen in the RCB parade bus with her cricketer husband Virat Kohli and she showed the visuals of riding of bus to M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He also showed Virat while sitting on the trophy lap in the front of the bus. In the video, escort cars were also shown clearing the way so that the bus could move forward. Anushka wrote in her story, “The current scene of Namma Bengaluru.” In the second story, he wrote, “These happy faces have waited for it with great love and patience.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB )’s victory in the city was fiercely celebrating. Meanwhile, after the incident of stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium, this celebration turned into mourning. In this accident, 11 people lost their lives and 33 people were injured.
