Trump’s tariff is in danger

This performance of Apple may be a big success for the electronics sector of India, but there are questions on how long it will last. The US government is currently investigating Section 232 of the Trade Extension Act, which allows the President to impose import duty on the basis of national security. The report is expected to come by 14 August.

Explain that under Section 232 of the Trade Extension Act 1962 in the US, the President is empowered to stop the import of products which are found to be endangered by national security. After the investigation is completed, there is a possibility of tariff on iPhone sent to America from India. At present, due to this investigation, exports of products like smartphones, laptops and servers from India will continue to be done without 25 percent tariffs in America.
