Reports of this phone coming with a crease-free display have already surfaced and now information has been received that Apple can give it its biggest battery pack till date. At present, Samsung and Google do not have foldable phones with such a big battery, but both these companies are also preparing to provide bigger batteries in their upcoming foldables.
How big a battery will be available in the foldable iPhone?
A leaker named Instant Digital on Chinese social media platform Weibo has said that a 5500 mAh battery can be provided in the iPhone Fold. This will be Apple’s largest battery pack so far. The company is currently offering its highest capacity battery (4823 mAh) in iPhone 17 Pro Max. The battery of iPhone Fold will be much bigger in comparison. In fact, with the help of silicon-carbon technology, bigger batteries can now be provided in foldable phones also.
What about the rest of the foldables?
Vivo Talking about Samsung, the company has been providing 4400 mAh battery in its Galaxy Z Fold model since 2021. Now there are speculations that in Galaxy Z Fold 8, its capacity can be increased to 5000 mAh. Similarly, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which will be launched before the iPhone Fold, is also expected to have a battery with a capacity of up to 6000 mAh.
When will iPhone Fold be launched?
iPhone Fold can be launched with iPhone 18 Pro models in September. It will have 7.8 inch internal and 5.5 inch cover display. When folded its thickness can be 9mm. There will be 2 cameras each in its rear and front. It is expected to have 12GB standard RAM with A20 Pro chipset.
