There is big news for the youth who dream of becoming a teacher in Bihar. Bihar Vidyalaya Examination Committee (BSEB) has released new dates of application for Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Now interested candidates will be able to apply from 19 September to 29 September 2025. The application process will be completely online. Candidates can also apply through the steps mentioned here.
When will the application and exam be done?
BSEB has told in its notice that applications can be made from September 19 to September 29 at 11 pm. Earlier, the application was to be held from 11 to 19 September, but due to technical reasons the dates had to be pushed forward. Now the exam will be held between October 4 to October 25, 2025. Its results will be announced in November.

Candidates should go to the official website of Bihar Board Secondary.biharboardonline.com or Bsebstet.org to apply. Fill the form from here and submit the fees online.
Qualification for examination
Bihar STET exam takes place in two parts – Paper 1 (Secondary Teacher) and Paper 2 (Higher Secondary Teacher). Paper 1 (Secondary Level) – Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and B.Ed. Post graduation people can also apply. Paper 2 (Higher Secondary Level) – Masters degree is required at least 50 percent marks and degrees like B.Ed./B.Ed. In some subjects, B.Ed. is also exempted from the mandatory. For more information, official notifications have to be seen.

Step 2: After this, fill your basic information and create a user ID and password.
Step 3: Now the candidates should login and fill the entire application form.
Step 4: Then upload passport size photo, signature and academic documents.
Step 5: After this, submit the application fee through online medium.
Step 6: Now check the preview of the form before submission.
Step 7: Then after submitting the application, take out the print out of the form.
