If you are looking for a government job and are associated with medical or technical field, then this news is very useful for you. Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification for recruitment to vacant posts in various departments in 2025. The application process will start from 5 August 2025 and interested candidates will be able to fill the form through online medium. Candidates can also apply through the method given here. Candidates should keep in mind that they should apply for recruitment within the stipulated time.
Which posts have been recruited?
Under this recruitment, appointments will be made to posts like Staff Nurse, Junior Pharmacist, ANM, Lab Assistant, Food Safety Officer, Electrician, Junior Radiographer, and Junior Surgical Assistant. These posts will be filled in other departments including Health and Medical Education Department, Food and Drugs Department.
How much will you get salary?
The candidates selected on these posts will get salary from 19,900 to 81,100 every month. The salary will vary according to the grade pay and level of the post. Along with this, DA, HRA and other allowances will also be available as per the rules of the Central Government.
What should be the qualification?
- Staff Nurse: GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) or B.Sc Nursing pass candidates can apply.
- Junior Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy.
- ANM: ANM course pass candidates are eligible.
- Lab Assistant/ Radiographer/ Technician: Diploma or degree in the respective field is required.
- Food Safety Officer: Graduation is necessary in a recognized subject like food technology, dairy technology, biotechnology or pharmacy.
Age limit
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years. Reserved classes will get age relaxation as per rules.
Selection process
The written examination will be conducted by JKSSB. Skill test can also be done for some technical posts. This will be followed by the document verification and the final merit list will be released.

Application fee will have to be paid so much
For recruitment, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. While there is a fee of Rs 400 for reserved category (SC/ST/PH/EWS). Fees can be deposited through online medium.
