If you are thinking of making a career in the banking sector then this is a great opportunity for you. Punjab National Bank has invited applications for 5138 apprentice posts across the country. The application process has started from 8th February and its last date has been fixed as 24th February. In such a situation, the candidates who have not been able to apply yet should fill the form as soon as possible.
Ability
To apply for PNB Apprenticeship posts, the candidate must have passed graduation in any stream from any recognized university or institute. Graduate candidates from BA, B.Com, B.Sc or any other subject can apply.
age limit
The minimum age for this recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 28 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules. Age will be calculated considering January 1, 2026 as the base.
application fee
While filling the application form for this recruitment, candidates will have to deposit the fee as per their category. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to deposit Rs 944. SC, ST and women candidates will have to pay Rs 708. The application fee for disabled category candidates has been fixed at Rs 236.
selection process
Candidates will be selected in this recruitment through several stages. First of all online written examination will be conducted. In this examination, questions can be asked from subjects like General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics and English. Candidates who are successful in the online examination will be called for document verification, in which their educational certificates and other important documents will be checked. After this, a local language test will be taken to ensure that the candidate can understand and speak the language of the area where he will be posted. Finally medical examination will be conducted. Only the candidates successful in all the stages will be finally selected.
How much will be the stipend?
Candidates selected in this recruitment will be given monthly stipend during the training period. If the candidate is posted in a rural, semi-urban or general urban area, he will get an honorarium of Rs 12,300 per month. If a candidate is posted in a metro city, he will be provided a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month.
