However, Pakistan reacted cautiously regarding sharing the stage with Israel. Pakistani officials say Pakistan wants to use the platform to reiterate its stance on key international issues, including support for Palestine, an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and a durable political solution based on international law.

Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said regarding the Board of Peace meeting that the Israeli Prime Minister’s decision to participate in the Gaza Board of Peace is his own.
