He added, “The players are aware of which format they are best. There are many challenges and they should be ready to face them.”
Babur-Rizwan was ignored in the last two series
Babur and Rizwan last played T20 matches against South Africa in December 2024. Since then, both the players have not got a place in the team. After South Africa, Pakistan team went to play a 5 -match T20 series on New Zealand tour. Babur-Rijwan was dropped for the first time on this tour. After this, he did not get a chance to play in the home series against Bangladesh.

Babur is not able to make a place in the T20 International team today. But he is the second highest run -scorer in the history of T20 International. Babur has scored 4223 runs in 128 matches.
