According to a report in Cricbuzz, all four cricketers had got an appointment at the Indian Embassy in Sri Lanka on January 13 and had completed all the paperwork prescribed by the ICC. During the meeting at the Indian Embassy, he was told that his visa process could not be completed at present.
It was further told in the same report that the same evening a call was received from the Indian Embassy to the American management. It was told that some information has been received, while additional information is awaited from the Ministry of External Affairs. Once this process is complete, all four players will be contacted.

The process of granting visas to Pakistani players involves additional administrative procedures, regardless of their citizenship.
