If you are traveling by putting another car in your car in the process of saving toll on the highway, then be careful. Now this cleverness can be overwhelming. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and the Ministry of Road Transport (MORTH) have made the rules more strict about Fastag. Now the same fastag will be valid for every vehicle and if caught using a tag in another vehicle, it will not only be fined, but your fastag will also be blacklisted. This means that next time there will be neither your tag scan on the toll plaza, neither the car will move forward and may be charged upside down.

A car will have the same fastag valid

Fastag, implemented for smooth and fast journey from the toll plaza on the National Highway, has come under strict supervision. The government has made it clear that the same fastag will be valid for one vehicle and it will be considered illegal to put it in another car. If found doing so, that tag will be blacklisted immediately. That is, no payment will be accepted from that tag and you may have to pay double paying on the toll.

One Vehicle – Violation of One Fastag can be blacklist

The government implemented the ‘One Vehicle-One Fastag’ rule last year, saying that many vehicle owners try to save the toll by repeatedly by planting the same tag in different vehicles. This not only disturbs the toll system, but it also affects the safety and transparency of the tag system. From now on, any such tag will be blacklisted immediately by putting it in the category of “Loose Tag”.

So if you have two vehicles, then it is necessary for each one to take a separate fastag. It is mandatory for each fastag to be linked to the vehicle number and the same information is recorded in the toll system. The details of the vehicle are revealed as soon as the Tag’s QR code is scanned. In such a situation, putting one tag in another car will no longer be a violation of the rules, but a violation of direct rules.
