  • Around menopause (perimenopause): A few years before menopause (periods closure), women’s hormone levels begin to fluctuate. During this time the cycle of periods can be small or irregular.

When to be careful and see a doctor?

If you are continuously coming from periods before a month or seeing some other symptoms with it, then see a doctor immediately.

  • To have too much bleeding or walking bleeding for more days.
  • Excessive pain with periods.
  • Dizziness, weakness or too much fatigue feeling (symptoms of anemia).
  • Rapid change in weight.
  • Symptoms of hormonal changes such as swelling in the neck or unwanted hair on the face.
  • If you feel that you can become pregnant and still bleeding is happening.
