Ashes 2025-26: The world’s oldest and fiercest rivalry in cricket, The Ashes, is once again coming to thrill the entire world in 2025-26. This five-match Test series to be held on Australian soil from 21 November 2025 to 8 January 2026 will not just be a bat-ball contest, but will also be a battle of respect, history and supremacy.
Australia is ready, England is in the fire of revenge
Australia is looking as strong as ever in its home conditions. The team will be led by Steve Smith, who has been in excellent form in recent months. However, injuries have definitely given an initial blow to the Australian team. Fast bowler Pat Cummins is out of the first test. Due to which Smith has been given the captaincy.
On the other hand, England is on a campaign to win the Ashes in Australia for the first time since 2010-11. Captain Ben Stokes is relying on his aggressive style and ‘New England’ style. Joe Root, Jack Crawley and Harry Brook are the batting backbone of the team, while Joffra Archer and Mark Wood will be the main bowlers.
