Asia cup 2025: The Asia Cup played in Dubai is not taking the name of the controversy between India and Pakistan after the 2025 Super-4 match. Now this matter has reached the International Cricket Council (ICC) directly. BCCI has taken strict steps regarding the behavior of Pakistani players and filed a complaint against them.
BCCI complaint
BCCI has filed an official complaint against Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf and batsman Sahibzada Farhan at the ICC. It is alleged that both these players made inflammatory and objectionable gestures during the match.
In this match played on 21 September, Rauf made such a gesture, as if the aircraft was shown falling. It is believed that he did this to make fun of the Indian Army’s action. Apart from this, during the bowling, he also abused Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, which both batsmen answered with their bat.
At the same time, Sahibzada Farhan, after scoring a half -century, celebrated the battle of the bat like a machine gun. He was strongly criticized on social media about this. Farhan himself later said, “That was just a moment celebration, how will I take it.”
Now Rauf and Farhan may have to face hearing under the Code of Conduct of ICC. If the charges are proved, then action is fixed on both the players.
PCB reversed complaint
On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also filed a complaint against Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav in the ICC. PCB says that Suryakumar had dedicated his team’s victory to the victims of the Indian Army and Pahalgam terror attack after winning Pakistan on 14 September, which is a ‘political statement’. However, it remains to be seen whether the complaint is done within the time limit.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chief and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi worked to further provoke this entire matter. He shared a video of Cristiano Ronaldo on social media, in which the Portuguese star is seen celebrating the goal. The video was introduced as if he was also pointing to the plane crash.
