Asia cup 2025: The Indian team’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is part of the 15-member team selected for the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will start in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 9 September and will run till September 28, but a few weeks before the tournament, there has been an increased concern about Samson’s fitness. His wife Charulatha Ramesh shared an update from the hospital on social media, causing a stir among the fans.
Wife shared a picture from hospital
Charulatha told that on August 21, Samson was in Hospital at 3 pm. Surprisingly, the second match of Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025 was played on the same day, in which Samson’s team Kochi Blue Tigers landed on the ground. He was present on the field in that match and the team defeated Adani Trivandrum Royals by 8 wickets. However, Samson did not get a chance to bat. It is not yet clear why the hospital was admitted, but if the matter turns out to be serious then it can be a matter of concern for the Indian team and the selectors.
