After the 7-wicket win against Pakistan last Sunday, the qualification of the Indian team was almost confirmed, but with the defeat of Oman, the Indian team has formally reached Super-4.

On Monday, the seventh match of the 2025 Asia Cup was played between UAE and Oman. In this match, UAE scored a huge score of 172 runs while playing first. In response, Oman’s entire team was reduced to 130 runs and lost the match by 42 runs.

India qualified for Super-4

The Indian team has become the first team to go to Super-4. India still have 4 points and there is still a match left, which is to be played against Oman on 19 September. It is feared that Pakistan will become the second team from Group A to Super-4, but the hope of UAE is not over yet. At the same time, Oman also defeats India in the next match, so it will have only 2 points. At the same time, only one of the Pakistan vs UAE will be able to go up to four digits. Therefore, it is now impossible for the Indian team to be out of Super-4.

Which teams have qualified so far?

So far, only the Indian team has got admission in Super-4 in both the groups. If we look at Group A, only one of the Pakistan and UAE will be able to qualify. On the other hand, if we look at Group B, Afghanistan is currently on top after a win. Sri Lanka is second with 2 points.
