Asia oldest elephant vatsala death: ‘Vatsala’, who is considered to be the senior elephant of the Panna Tiger Sanctuary of Madhya Pradesh and the oldest elephant in Asia, breathed his last at the age of over 100 on Tuesday (July 8). According to an official statement, Vatsala had become physically weak for the past few days and Khairai had fallen near the drain.
The employees of the forest department tried their best to lift him, but died in the afternoon. Vatsala was cremated with full respect by the officials of the sanctuary.

Due to old age, her eyesight was lost and she was unable to cover a long distance, so she was kept free from tasks like patrolling. He was kept in the Hinouta elephant camp, where he was taken to the Khairaiyan drain every day for a bath and the porridge was given in the food.

Vatsala was not just an elephant, but she was a center of attraction for tourists and a major member of elephants. She looked at the children of other female elephants like a grandmother or grandmother. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed deep condolences over the death of Vatsala, saying, “Vatsala was a symbol of the silent patron of our forests, the senses of the state and the senses of the state. He was a link connecting every creature of the sanctuary with his experiences and affection.”
Vatsala’s health was periodically examined by the management of Panna Tiger Sanctuary and the health of Vatsala.
