The teams that will remain on top in this format will face each other in the final match to be held on October 23. The trend of “not shaking hands” has started appearing again and again between the players of India and Pakistan. A few months ago, in the Asia Cup cricket also, the team captained by Suryakumar Yadav had decided not to shake hands with Pakistani players after the match. The women’s team also did the same during the World Cup this year.
This stance has been taken by India after the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. 26 Indians were killed in this attack. Many sports analysts believe that this ‘no handshake’ is a silent protest against Pakistan.
