Pakistan’s CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the army camp which was destroyed by the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor. Asim Munir tested the army drone in Bahawalpur, about 80 kilometers from the Indian border. During this, he asked the Pakistani Army to be prepared for every situation.
Army is going through a phase of change: Munir
CDF Asim Munir said on Thursday (29 January 2026), ‘The army is going through major changes in many areas. We are ready to deal with all kinds of threats to protect the territorial integrity of the country. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, Munir said these things during his visit to Bahawalpur Cantonment. According to ISPR, Manir was given information related to the training of armies as well as paying special attention to war preparations.
Whose fear is troubling PAK Army Chief Munir?
ISPR said that Asim Manir emphasized on future wars and security challenges. Munir also took stock of a high-intensity field exercise conducted in Khairpur Tamewali. It showcased the use of drones, advanced surveillance, electronic warfare equipment and modern command-and-control systems.
He also said that the country needs to keep pace with emerging areas in the battlefield such as cyberspace, electromagnetic spectrum, outer space, information operations and quantum computing. Earlier, he inaugurated the ROHI e-Skill Learning Hub (STP). It aims to promote digital skill opportunities for students, especially in Southern Punjab and across the country.
India created havoc during Operation Sindoor
The Indian Army had launched a massive attack in Ahmedpur Sharqiya near Bahawalpur during Operation Sindoor. India carried out this attack in the mosque compound, in which about 5 terrorists were killed. During Operation Sindoor, India destroyed 9 hideouts inside Pakistan, in which more than 100 terrorists were killed.
