By-POLL Election Results Today: The results of the by -elections in five assembly seats in West Bengal, Punjab, Kerala and Gujarat are being declared today. The results of these seats are considered very important for the upcoming assembly elections and regional political equations. These by -elections are being seen as the first major political indicator since Lok Sabha 2024. While the eyes of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and Gujarat are eyeing, everyone is also watching the tussle between TMC in Bengal and Congress-Left in Kerala.

According to the Election Commission, the political picture from the trends till 11:30 am seems to be gradually clear. Congress -led United Democratic Front (UDF) has taken an edge over Kerala’s Nilambur seat. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leading in the Ludhiana West seat of Punjab. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is in a strong position on the Kaliganj seat of West Bengal. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in the link (SC) and Visavadar seats of Gujarat, where it has been out of power for the last 18 years.

Neelambur (Kerala) had the highest turnout of 73.26%. At the same time, Ludhiana West (Punjab) recorded the lowest 51.33% voting. The Election Commission has made strict security arrangements to keep the counting peaceful and transparent. EVM machines have been kept in multi-layer security cordon and heavy police force has been deployed at counting centers.
