Famous Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi lost his parents’ life at a very young age. The actor lost both his parents at the age of 14. Now recently during an interview he talked about this. He also told how he became strong and presented himself to the world without the support of his parents.
Even today the pain of not fulfilling mother’s last wish haunts me.
Recently Arshad Warsi visited Raj Shamani’s podcast. During this, he shared many things about his family, his career and his struggling days. After this he also remembered the last moment spent with his mother. The actor revealed that his last memory with his mother still haunts him. In the podcast, he told that after his father passed away, his mother’s health also suddenly deteriorated. Due to kidney failure he had to remain in dialysis.
Arshad Warsi said, ‘My mother was a simple housewife who used to cook excellent food. During dialysis, the doctors refused to give her water but she kept asking me for water. I refused him many times. The night before he died, he called me again and asked for water but I refused. A few hours later she passed away. Arshad Warsi told that that night was very dangerous for him and even today he feels guilty about it.
Childhood buried under the burden of responsibilities
Taking his point forward, Arshad Warsi said that after the death of his parents, responsibilities surrounded him and he became more mature than his age. The actor also told that he did not even cry after the death of his parents because he had kept himself so busy in handling everything. Arshad Warsi told that at that time his financial condition was also not good, he used to get Rs 175 for doing a musical show whereas the cost of his mother’s weekly dialysis was up to Rs 800. He told that at that time he was working only to keep himself alive and only then he understood the real meaning of financial freedom.

Arshad Warsi is continuously entertaining the audience with his new projects. Before this he was seen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’. Once again he made his place in the hearts of the audience with this character. After this, he also played the role of gangster Gafoor in Aryan Khan’s series ‘Bads of Bollywood’. Now he will be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ which will be released in theaters on 26th December.
