The command of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) is now in the hands of a young face. At the age of just 29, Maharyaman Scindia became its youngest president. He belongs to the royal family of Gwalior. His father Jyotiraditya Scindia is a minister in the central government and Dada Madhavrao Scindia has also been the president of MPCA. Maharamanan Scindia did his schooling from the top Doon School, Dehradun in the country. He then moved abroad and earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science and Government from Yale University (America) in 2019. Then he was also a part of the Summer School Program at the London School of Economics, where he studied International Relations and Affairs.
Work experience in different fields
Along with studies, Maharyaman also collected work experiences continuously. In August 2014, he did an internship at the Gross National Happiness Center in Bhutan. After this, he also worked in the Ministry of Finance, Government of India for some time. Then in 2015 he worked in Christies in London, then contributed to UIDAI (Aadhaar Card Authority) in New Delhi in 2016. In 2017, he gained experience with SoftBank and New York’s Macro Advisory Partners in 2018.

Apart from these, from 2019 to 2021, he was an associate in BCG (Boston Consulting Group) in Mumbai. After this, he paid attention to family business and new startups. He became the director of Undsounds Entertainment and Jai Vilas Palace. In the year 2022, he also launched tech startups. That is, in the world of technology and business, he also increased the steps firmly.
Connection with cricket
In the year 2022, Maharamanman started as Vice President of Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA). This year he became the lifetime member of MPCA. In the year 2024, he started the Madhya Pradesh T20 League, which gave a new platform to the young cricketers of the state.
This initiative clearly shows the understanding of his cricket love and management. Now he became the President of MPCA. According to reports, no particular degree is required to become the president of the Cricket Association.
