Actor and supermodel Milind Soman once again proved that he is a true fitness icon. In a recent interview, 60 year old Milind Soman told how he discovered a diet trick with the help of which he lost not just one or two but 6 kilos of weight. Did not do any special gym workout, rather there was a small diet change, which Milind adopted as a kind of experiment. But its effect proved to be amazing for him.
Milind Soman lost 6 kg weight
Talking to FPJ show, Milind Soman told that he tried intermittent fasting for the first time in November 2024 at the age of 59. The ‘Made in India’ fame model told that this diet did wonders for her. He said- ‘I started it just as an experiment. Last November I started 16:8 intermittent fasting, just to see what effect it would have. I found it wonderful. It was really a very good experience.
Milind laughingly said, ‘Actually, I lost 6-7 kg of weight, although I did not think that I had to lose so much weight. I always thought that I was perfect and people around me also said the same. But after losing 6 kg, I had more energy and was feeling more alert. This was a very positive experience.
However, Milind also told that he had to give up intermittent fasting because he was preparing for the Half-Ironman Marathon. He told, ‘Because in such a race, whatever you get, you have to eat it at any time. This is an endurance event. Milind further said- ‘I have not started it again, but this experience was really wonderful. Currently, I am not doing intermittent fasting, because we have a full Ironman event coming up.
stay away from packaged food
Milind said that he stays away from packaged food as much as possible. He tries to ensure that there is absolutely zero packaged food in his food. Although, sometimes his wife Ankita Konwar eats packaged food, Milind himself is not a big fan of it. However, she (Ankita) also makes sure that packaged food does not become a daily part of her diet.
