In view of the extra crowd of passengers on the occasion of Holi, many special trains are being operated by the Railways. In this connection, it has been decided to operate 9 more pairs of special trains. This will provide relief to the passengers. If you are also looking for a train to travel during Holi, then the trains included in the list can be an option.
08439/08440 Puri-Patna-Puri Special (via Kharagpur-Asansol-Jhajha): Train No. 08439 Puri-Patna Special will depart from Puri at 14.55 hrs every Saturday from February 28 to March 28, 2026 and reach Patna at 10.45 hrs the next day. Train number 08440 Patna-Puri special will depart from Patna at 13.30 hrs every Sunday from March 1 to 29, 2026 and reach Puri at 09.45 the next day.
09031/09032 Udhna-Hassanpur Road-Udhna Special (via DDU-Patliputra-Hajipur-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur): Train No. 09031 Udhna-Hassanpur Road Special will depart from Udhna at 11.25 am every Sunday from February 22 to March 29, 2026 and reach Hasanpur Road station at 20.00 pm the next day, stopping at DDU at 10.30 am, Patliputra at 14.15 pm, Muzaffarpur at 17.10 pm. Train No. 09032 Hasanpur Road-Udhna Special will depart from Hasanpur Road station at 21.45 hrs on every Monday from 23rd February to 30th March, 2026 and will reach Muzaffarpur at 00.25 hrs the next day, Patliputra at 02.15 hrs, DDU at 05.40 hrs and will reach Udhna at 15.00 hrs on the third day.
07005/07006 Charlapalli-Raxaul-Charlapalli Special (via Ranchi-Bokaro-Dhanbad-Jhajha-Barauni-Samastipur-Darbhanga-Sitamarhi): Train No. 07005 Charlapalli – Raxaul Special will depart from Charlapalli at 22.00 hrs on 23rd and 28th February and March 01, 2026, stopping at Dhanbad at 03.50 hrs, Barauni at 10.50 hrs, Darbhanga at 13.33 hrs and will reach Raxaul at 16.50 hrs on the third day. Train No. 07006 Raxaul-Charlapalli Special will depart from Raxaul at 03.15 hrs on February 26 and March 03 and 04, 2026, stopping at Darbhanga at 07.10 hrs, Barauni at 09.30 hrs, Dhanbad at 16.00 hrs and will reach Charlapalli at 19.40 hrs the next day.
09451/09452 Gandhidham-Bhagalpur-Gandhidham Special: Train number 09451/52 Gandhidham-Bhagalpur-Gandhidham Special, running via Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur-Barauni, is being expanded as Holi Special. Train number 09451 Gandhidham-Bhagalpur special will be operated as Holi special every Friday from March 06 to March 27 and train number 09452 Bhagalpur-Gandhidham special every Monday from March 9 to March 30 as per its old timings and stoppages.
03009/03010 Dankuni-Anand Vihar-Dankuni Special (via Jhajha-Kiul-Nawada-Gaya-DDU): Train No. 03009 Dankuni-Anand Vihar Special will depart from Dankuni at 00.20 hrs on 28th February and 07th March, 2026 and reach Kiul at 07.40 hrs, Nawada at 09.13 hrs, Gaya at 10.35 hrs and DDU at 14.00 hrs and will reach Anand Vihar at 11.00 hrs the next day. Train No. 03010 Anand Vihar-Dankuni Special will depart from Anand Vihar at 15.00 hrs on March 01 and 08, 2026 and reach Dankuni at 23.30 hrs the next day at 08.40 hrs, DDU at 11.45 hrs, Nawada at 13.00 hrs and Kiul at 14.30 hrs.

Train No. 03132 Gorakhpur-Sealdah Special will depart from Gorakhpur at 21.00 hrs on 27th February and 03rd and 06th March, 2026 and will stop at Hajipur at 02.20 hrs, Barauni at 04.20 hrs the next day and reach Sealdah at 16.20 hrs.
03525/03526 Asansol-Gorakhpur-Asansol Special (via Kiul-Barauni-Shahpur Patori-Hajipur-Chhapra): Train number 03525 Asansol-Gorakhpur special will depart from Asansol at 19.15 hrs on February 28 and March 02, 2026 and will reach Gorakhpur at 09.15 hrs, stopping at Barauni at 00.30 hrs and Hajipur at 02.30 hrs the next day. Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, said that apart from the above special trains, more special trains will be operated on the occasion of Railway Holi. Information about that will also be given soon.
