Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, 62, married his financial services partner Jodie Hayden, 46, in a private ceremony in the gardens of The Lodge, his official residence in the capital Canberra. With this, PM Anthony Albanese has become the first Prime Minister in the 124-year history of the federal government in Australia to get married while in office.

At the same time, Prime Minister Albanese has shared a beautiful post on social media platform X by writing just one word ‘Married’, in which he has also added a heart emoji along with two diamond rings in the caption. In the video shared in the post, Albanese is seen holding the hand of his smiling bride in a bow tie, while his bride Jodie Hayden wore a long white gown as confetti flew around them.
Albanese got married 2 years after the proposal.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Jodie Hayden got married in a private ceremony on Valentine’s Day last year in 2024, about two years after getting engaged. At the time of engagement, PM Albanese had said that he has found a life partner with whom he wants to spend his entire life. According to the report of news agency AFP, both of them wrote their own vows during the marriage and got their marriage solemnized through a celebrant.
