‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ had an opening of Rs 19 crore at the Indian box office. After which the film had earned Rs 109.5 crore in the first week. On the second Friday, the film’s earning was Rs 7.65 crore. After this, on the ninth day, i.e. second Saturday, there was a jump in the film’s collection and it earned Rs 10 crore. By the end of the second week of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, the film collected approximately Rs 160 crore.

  • According to the early trade report of Sacknilk, as per the initial estimates of third Friday, the film has collected Rs 2.85 crore.
  • With this its total collection has now become Rs 163.5 crore.

The collection is cooler than the previous films of the franchise.
Considering the popularity of the Avatar franchise, even though the film’s performance may not have been as per expectations, it has still proved to be a successful film in India. Compared to the previous films, Avatar: The Way of Water had earned approximately Rs 465 crore at the Indian box office, while the latest release has earned only Rs 192.50 crore so far.

The third installment in the Avatar film franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash follows human-turned-Na’vi Jake Sully and his family on the planet Pandora, where they face the threat of human RDA forces and a barbarian tribe, the Mangquan. The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet, who reprise their roles from the previous film. Other actors in the film include Una Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco and Brendan Cowell.

Avatar: Fire and Ash had its world premiere on December 1 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and the film was released on December 19, 2025. This film has become the fifth highest grossing film of 2025 with a total collection of 1 billion dollars worldwide.
