Due to an explosion in a house in Pagla Bhari village of Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday evening, the entire house was destroyed. Five people died tragically in this. The dead include 3 children and 2 adults, while many are also injured. Expressing deep grief over this incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to the bereaved families.

CM Yogi has given strict instructions to the officials to provide immediate relief and provide better treatment to the injured. In the initial investigation, the cause of the explosion is believed to be the storage of gas cylinders or illegal firecrackers. The sound of the explosion was heard up to a kilometer away, and 3-4 nearby houses developed cracks.

Yogi Adityanath’s condolence message

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the accident as soon as he got the information and said in his official statement that the loss of life in the unfortunate accident in Ayodhya is extremely sad. My condolences are with the bereaved family. It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to grant salvation to the departed souls, strength to the bereaved family members to bear this immense sorrow and speedy recovery to the injured.

Yogi instructed the local officials to immediately take the injured to the district hospital or the trauma center of Lucknow, where free and better treatment would be ensured. He also ordered to provide government assistance to the families of the deceased. In a statement issued from the CM office, it was said that the state government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the families of the victims in this hour of crisis.

What was the entire incident?

Let us tell you that at around 6 pm on Thursday evening, there was a sudden massive explosion in a house in Pagla Bhari village. 5 people died in this accident, including 2 children. 2 people were trapped under the debris till late night. Windows and doors of nearby houses were also broken and cracks appeared in the walls. The debris was scattered up to a distance of 500 meters.

CO Shailendra Singh said that 5 people have died in the explosion, some are injured and efforts are on to rescue the trapped people. The DM said that an assistance of Rs 4 lakh each will be given to the families of the deceased.
