Vaibhav Suryavanshi is part of the Rajasthan Royals team in IPL 2025. Now his under-19 cricket partner Ayush Mhatre can get a chance to play Rituraj Gaikwad in Chennai Super Kings.
Ayush was called by CSK to the Chepock Stadium for the trial after Gaikwad’s injury. Earlier too, CSK took the trial of Ayush in November 2024. But the team did not buy them in the mega auction.
But now Gaekwad is out of the entire IPL due to injury. In such a situation, CSK can include him in the team instead of Gaikwad. However, no official information has been received about this yet.
The 17 -year -old Ayush has performed brilliantly for India in Under 19 cricket with Vaibhav. Apart from this, he performed Shaandra in the debut season 2024-25 for Mumbai.
Ayush played seven matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. During this, he scored 458 runs at an average of 65.42. Which included two fifties and a century.
After this, he also scored runs in the Ranji Trophy. Ayush scored 471 runs at an average of 33.64. Which included two centuries and a half -century. During this time his best score was 176.
