Ayushman Bharat Yojana Registration in Delhi: The Ayushman Bharat scheme has been formally implemented in the capital Delhi from Thursday (April 10). With this, Delhi has become the 35th state in the country where this scheme has become effective. On the occasion of the launch of the scheme, Ayushman cards were handed over to 19 beneficiary families in a program organized at Vigyan Bhawan. Along with this, an important agreement was also reached between the Center and the Delhi government on the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (ABHIM), under which 1139 Ayushman Arogya temples will be opened in Delhi within the next one year.

During this program, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched a scathing attack on the previous Kejriwal government. Rekha Gupta said in her address, “The rights that the people of Delhi should have got long ago, have been found today. Only 50 days old government showed what was stuck for years. It is a historic day, history is being written.”

‘Previous government did not implement’
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans, he said, “Every step of PM Modi keeps the health of the common citizen at the center. He also offered all the schemes of the Center to Delhi, but the previous government did not implement him.” Taking a sarcasm, he said, ‘The moments have worked, people were punished.’

CM expresses concern over Delhi’s health system
Rekha Gupta also expressed concern about the condition of Delhi’s health system and said, “Today there are no beds in Delhi’s hospitals, there are no machines, there is a huge shortage of doctors, and 24 proposed hospitals have not been made yet. Patients are being given a date after 6-6 months for the operation.” He alleged, “Kejriwal government had problems and even deaths of the people.”

JP Nadda surrounds the previous government
Apart from him, Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda also targeted the opposition parties and the predecessor Delhi government in his speech. He said that from today, Ayushman Bharat Scheme has been implemented in Delhi, due to which the poor will now get free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. Earlier people used to spend 62 percent of health from their pockets, but after the Ayushman scheme, this expenditure has come down to 30 percent.

JP Nadda further said, when the wrong governments come to power, then the rights of the people are violated. He said that the first three states were Odisha, Delhi and West Bengal, who did not implement this scheme. The government has now changed in Odisha and Delhi and lotus has blossomed. Now there is just Bengal left and the government will go there and the lotus will blossom.

‘Could be implemented in 2025 in 2021’
He said that the PM was brought to the Health Infrastructure Mission 2021 but it could be implemented in Delhi in 2025 as the then Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj reached the Supreme Court that the scheme will not be implemented. The case was fought. The flute fought, we fought and eventually Delhi got its right.

These facilities will be available in Ayushman Arogya temples
Union Minister Nadda also informed that dental treatment, mental health services, treatment of cancer, investigation and other medical facilities will be provided in the Ayushman Arogya temples to be built in the coming time. He gave the responsibility to the Delhi government that all these 1139 centers should be constructed in five years, but within a year.
