Samajwadi Party leader and former MP MLA Azam Khan can be released from Sitapur Jail after 23 months on Tuesday, September 23, Tuesday. However, during his release, two such reasons came out due to which are being delayed. Azam, if not released today, then his release is being decided on 24 September 2025, Wednesday.
The first screw in Azam’s release is Bell Bond. Azam was expected to come out of imprisonment for 23 months after getting bail from the Allahabad High Court, but the process of release has stopped due to a mistake in his address in Bell Bond. According to the jail administration, Azam Khan’s address was wrong while filling the bell bond. For the release of any prisoner, the complete and correct address in the bell bond is mandatory. If there is an error or inconvenience in the address, the whole process is stopped. Now the process of release will start again only after correcting the new documents.

Second reason is Moradabad’s Parvana
The second screw is not to reach Parwana of release in a case from Moradabad court. According to the information, Parwana of release can reach Moradabad by noon. Azam Khan’s sentence of 2 years in the Chhajalat case has been completed. Today, the release of the court can be released. In such a situation, it is difficult for Azam Khan to be released today. Parvana will be released by 2 pm. If the wireless reached Parwan Jail online, then it will be released by evening. Otherwise the release will be tomorrow.
Azam Khan has been lodged in separate cases in jail for the last 23 months. 72 cases were registered against him, out of which he has got bail.
