Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is doing concocted stories to please his citizens. Meanwhile, the staunch Islamic country Azerbaijan has supported Pakistan against India.

Shahbaz Sharif told Pakistan true brother

Azerbaijan has praised Pakistan for the military campaign against India, after which Shahbaz Sharif thanked the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. According to the report of the news agency APF, the two leaders spoke over the phone, in which Shahbaz Sharif informed the President of Azerbaijan about the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Shahbaz Sharif had described China as his true brother from ceasefire and now Azerbaijan is calling a true brother.

Azerbaijan opposed India’s action

Azerbaijan had earlier opposed India’s action regarding Pahalgam attack and operation vermilion. Shahbaz Sharif also invited Aliyev to come to Pakistan. Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is committed to strengthening his brotherhood relations with Pakistan in all areas. Azerbaijan reiterated the strengthening of cooperation with Pakistan on political and economic fronts.

Pakistan proposes ceasefire in front of India

Pakistan has been encouraged after successful retaliation against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. After defeating the Indian Army, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire on 10 May 2025 in front of India, which India accepted on its terms. On 22 April, 26 innocent tourists were killed by Pakistan-backed militants in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
