Recently during a Facebook Live session, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev discussed in detail the amazing structure of the human body and its importance. He said that the human body is one of the greatest wonders of the universe. According to Ramdev, countless complex processes go on inside the body every moment, but often we do not pay attention to them until a health problem arises.

Natural eating habits and good sleep

Ramdev stressed on improving daily habits and eating habits to stay healthy. While sharing an interesting information, he said that ‘Onion’ easily available in the kitchen can be helpful in getting good sleep naturally. According to him, some natural foods help in calming our nervous system, which can provide better rest and deep sleep without any external medicines.

Role of liver and kidney

Explaining the functioning of body parts, he described liver and kidney as ‘the basis of health’. Ramdev said that liver not only helps in digestion but is also important in detoxification and keeping the metabolism smooth. Similarly, the kidneys perform the essential function of purifying the blood and controlling blood pressure. The health of these organs is essential for the energy and balance of the body.

Importance of yoga and herbs

Ramdev highlighted the benefits of pranayams like Kapalbhati and Anulom-Vilom. He told that these respiratory activities increase lung capacity and bring mental clarity. Also, he underlined the importance of traditional herbs like ‘Ashwagandha’, which are effective in reducing stress and increasing physical strength.

Disciplined lifestyle is the key

At the end of the session he advised people to adopt a disciplined lifestyle. He said that with consistency in yoga, conscious eating habits and proper use of Patanjali’s Ayurveda products, a person can achieve long-term health. According to him, living close to nature and respecting one’s physical abilities is the real path to a healthy life.
