Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Sun of Sardar 2’ was released on the big screen on 1 August. Starring Ajay Devgan and Mrinal Thakur, the film is a sequel to Ajay Devgan’s 2012 hit “Sun of Sardar”. On the same day, ‘Dhadak 2’ directed by Shazia Iqbal was also released, in which Siddhant Chaturvedi and Trupti Dimri have played the lead roles. The film is also a spriyal sequel to Jahnavi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar’s 2018 romantic drama “Dhadak”.

Talking about the collection of the film in the midst of all this, ‘Sun of Sardar 2’ earned 33 crores in the first week of release. Then on the 8th day, the film has collected 1.25 crores, 9th day 4 crores, 10th day 3.75 crore, 11th day 1.1 crore, and on the 12th day, 1.28 crores.

On the 9th day, the film did a business of 1.4 crores, 1.65 crore on the 10th day, 60 lakhs on the 11th day and 74 lakhs on the 12th day.
