Bahraich salar masood ghazi fare: The ban on the fair at Salar Masood Ghazi’s dargah in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh will continue. In the Yayika filed by the Mela Management Committee, there was a hearing in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Friday, where the court has not allowed the fair committee to organize the fair. After which the ban by the district administration regarding the organizing of the fair will continue.
Every year a fair is organized at the dargah of Salar Ghazi in the month of Jeth. However, this time the administration has not given permission for this. The administration had said that the Dargah management does not have the necessary resources to organize a fair, so permission cannot be given. The DM got the matter investigated and refused to give permission. After which the fair committee appealed in the High Court. On Friday, the matter was heard in the bench of Justice AR Masudi and Justice Ajay Kumar Srivastava. Now the next hearing will be held on May 19.
District administration banned the organizing fair
Let us tell you that this time Jeth Mela was to be held from May 15 to June 15, but the district administration has not allowed the fair to be held due to lack of adequate resources. After this decision of the district administration, the Dargah Management Committee approached the High Court. During the first hearing in this case, the High Court had asked the state government to show the documents of ownership with Dargah Sharif.
In this case, Advocate Lalta Prasad Mishra, appearing for the petitioner, argued in the last hearing that this dargah was made by Ferozeshah Tughlaq in the memory of Syed Salar Masood Ghazi in 1375 AD and a month’s Urs has been run every year in the month of Jeth, in which four lakh people come from the country and India, but this time the Urs has to be started on 15 May but this time the Urs has to be started, but this time the Urs has to be started by the local administration but this time has been given by the local administration. At the same time, after the administration’s ban, the security of the dargah has been increased.
