- Mechanically, no changes have been made in Bajaj Pulsar 150. Like before, it has a 149.5cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 13.8 bhp and torque of 13.4 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, which gives a smooth riding experience both in the city and on the highway. The biggest strength of Pulsar 150 is its balanced performance, in which a good combination of both power and mileage is available. This is the reason why this bike is considered reliable for daily use as well as long rides.
price and competition
- The ex-showroom price of the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1.08 lakh. There is a slight difference in price according to different variants, but it is still affordable according to its segment. In the market, Pulsar 150 competes with bikes like TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda Unicorn and Yamaha FZ-S V3. All these are popular sports commuter bikes in the 150–160cc segment, but Pulsar 150 has once again become a strong contender with its reliability, strong brand value and now the new LED update.
