The controversy that broke out after prayers were offered at Lal Baradari in Lucknow University is not showing any signs of calming down. On Monday, students had protested against this, after which today once again Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have announced to read Hanuman Chalisa at this place, after which this controversy has increased further.

After the announcement of Bajrang Dal and VHP, a large number of workers gathered in the university, after which a large number of police forces have been deployed in the university. The security personnel tried to stop the students but they did not agree and forcibly entered the Lal Baradari and started reciting Hanuman Chalisa while sitting on the ground.

These students alleged that universities are temples of education, offering namaz and holding iftari parties here is completely wrong. He alleged that outsiders have also started entering here, which is being opposed. The police tried to stop the students but they did not agree, after which the police had to use mild force to chase them away.

The students claimed that no outsiders (people from Bajrang Dal or Vishwa Hindu Parishad) were invited here. He raised the question as to where the police administration had gone on that day when Namaz was offered here. Police does not take any action against those who offer namaz but arrests those who recite Hanuman Chalisa.

The police had to work hard to control the students. The police have also detained some students. At present there is tension in the university regarding this. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot. The police administration is keeping an eye on the entire situation.
