Balochistan Liberation Front claims, ‘We killed 10 Pakistani soldiers in separate attacks’

Balochistan Liberation Front (BJLF) has claimed to have killed 10 soldiers of Pakistan. Local media reported on Tuesday (December 30, 2025) that attacks were carried out targeting Pakistani army in Jhao, Barkhan, Tump and Turbat.

On Monday itself, BLF and other Baloch groups had claimed that in the last few days they had killed fifteen Pakistani soldiers. Within exactly 24 hours of that claim, 10 soldiers were said to have been killed. In a statement, BLF spokesperson Major Ghwaram Baloch said that their fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy in Jhao area of ​​Awaran district on the afternoon of 28 December.

The Balochistan Post quoted him as saying that army infantry, a bomb-disposal team and a pickup vehicle were targeted. According to the statement, eight enemy men were killed on the spot and three were seriously injured.

According to the group, a military vehicle deployed to protect the convoy was driven away. That too when “bodies and injured were lying on the road during the ambush attack.” BLF says that it will soon release video footage of the attack.

A few hours after the first attack, a second attack was carried out in the night, targeting a military camp in Sarti-Tik area near Rakhani in Barkhan district. The statement further said that the fighters used heavy weapons, including rocket-propelled grenades, due to which two Pakistani soldiers were killed and one was injured.

BLF said that its fighters launched the third attack on December 28 in Gomaji area of ​​Tump, Balochistan. They fired heavy shells at a force checkpoint, causing “significant damage” to Pakistani soldiers deployed there.

The group said it hurled a hand grenade targeting Pakistani Navy personnel at the main gate of a Navy camp in Central Turbat, Balochistan on December 27, causing casualties to Pakistani soldiers stationed there and increasing Pakistani Army patrolling in the area. BLF reiterated its commitment to continue armed attacks on Pakistani forces until “Azad Balochistan” is created.
